The Portsmouth Sports Club is proud to present several yearly scholarship awards to student athletes who have excelled both on the court (or field) and in the classroom.
Students from Portsmouth public high schools and Western Branch High School are welcome to apply.

Awards
We’re proud to recognize the top male and female student athletes from our local high schools for each fall, winter, and spring season sport. These students are presented with their scholarship awards at the annual Sports Club Jamboree each year. Scholarships are typically $3,500 each and awarded to graduating athletes.
In addition, the club also awards the Clarence “Ace” Parker scholarship for the outstanding male and female athlete of the year.
These awards are not given for athletic performance alone. We also take into account a student’s academic performance, future opportunities, and dedication to their sport.

The Portsmouth Sports Club currently does not offer online applications. However, you can download the application form here. Please fill out the application and send it via email or hand-deliver it to a current member of the Portsmouth Sports Club. Feel free to contact us with further questions!
